Voce has earned a national reputation for our commitment to regularly commissioning new works by internationally recognized composers. Voce has also presented national and regional premieres of new choral works.

Voce's latest commission, Shakespeare Songs, Book VI by award-winning composer Matthew Harris, premiered on May 16, 2009. Read the review in The Washington Post.

On December 15, 2007, Voce premiered its commission, Magnificat, We Sing by renowned composer and arranger, Alice Parker.

On May 11, 2007, Voce performed the concert premiere of the complete set of Shakespeare Songs by Matthew Harris as part of the Kennedy's Center's Shakespeare in Washington festival.

Voce's commission, Three Rossetti Lyrics by Daniel Gawthrop, was performed on Saturday, May 22, 1999.
