Voce has earned a national reputation for our commitment to regularly commissioning new works by internationally recognized composers. Voce has also presented national and regional premieres of new choral works.
Voce's will perform the world premiere of its latest commission, i love you much(most beautiful darling) by award-winning composer Matthew Harris and based on the poem by e.e. cummings on March 23 & 24, 2013 in Herndon and Reston, Virginia. This commission was made possible by the generous support of the Winter Skerritt family.
On May 16, 2009, Voce sang the premiere performance of Shakespeare Songs, Book VI by by Matthew Harris. The commission was funded in part by the Arts Council of Fairfax County. Read the review in The Washington Post.
